How to Give a Talk

  1. Tell them what you are going to tell them.
  2. Tell them.
  3. Tell them what you just told them.

  1. I am a child psychiatrist and I am attending this workshop so that I can understand what some of my teenage patients are talking about! Also, I keep getting asked by my friends, college buddies etc. if I am on Facebook and while I would love to join, I am also deathly afraid of some borderline mom finding me on there and making my life h-ll. So I hope to find out about if/how I could safely be on Facebook as well!

  2. I am an adult/geriatric psychiatrist at the VA and I am interested in starting an educational blog for Irai vets and their caregivers. I wonder about medical-legal implications of a blogg and how it might be a way to communicate with patients.

I have also been asked to contribute an existing blog for the San Jose Jazz Festival and I wonder how we can use it to drive more traffic to the festival website.

  3. Rule #4. Tell them no more than three things.

Gee, that's going to be a problem.
